New Scientist issue 3207 (cover date 8 December 2018) includes a two-page article by Rowan Hooper under the headline “Magic and science fuel Middle England cult hero”.

  1. Hi, thanks for all your work, perfect compass amongst the online chaos, I remember reading an interview with Alan where he talks in depth about his favourite science-fiction reads, does that ring a bell? I've been trying to find it to no avail. Best
