smoky man is the mastermind behind Alan Moore: Portrait of an extraordinary gentleman (Abiogenesis Press, 2003) tribute book, co-edited with Gary Spencer Millidge and Omar Martini, also published in Italy and Spain. 
In 2023 he conceived a "sequel" of the Portrait, putting together Alan Moore: PORTRAITS of an extraordinary gentleman to celebrate Moore's 70th birthday.

He collaborated - and continues to collaborate, on an irregular basis - as freelance translator, editor, writer and reviewer with several Italian comics publishers.
